About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic I, you will be responsible for performing equipment and materials fabrication, responding to service and emergency calls for maintenance repairs, and maintaining locks and keys. You will also need to demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of relevant health and safety requirements.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic working knowledge of a wide range of mechanical equipment.
Preferred:
- Stationary Engineering training as well as training in plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical.
- Certification in Proper Refrigeration Practices Type I and Type II.
- Prior mechanical experience including burning and welding.
- Prior Healthcare Experience.
