About the Role
As a Maintenance Repairman 1, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing structural, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the Norristown State Hospital complex. Your duties will include cleaning buildings, performing landscaping, assisting skilled trades workers, tracking inventory of tools, operating power and hand tools, and driving vehicles for transporting personnel and materials.
About You
Required:
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades.
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
