About the Role
As a Maintenance Tech I, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment, including conveyors, automation, and robotics. Your daily tasks will include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting out-of-service equipment, documenting work in the CMMS, and assisting with facility project work. You will also conduct root cause analysis of downtime events and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
- Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PLC logic systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 10%.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent.
- Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a building maintenance position servicing a facility larger than 75,000 square feet.
