Netvita is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Injection Molding) to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves maintaining equipment uptime and optimizing the utilization of various industrial machines.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician (Injection Molding), you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the efficient operation of injection molding machines and other facility equipment. Your responsibilities will include developing preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, maintaining documentation, and managing the maintenance budget. You will also be on call for urgent maintenance issues and will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operation.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in maintenance of industrial equipment including injection molding machines or equivalent experience with blow molding or extrusion machines.
- Experience with industrial mechanical repair including hydraulics, motors, and pumps.
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems and devise effective repair solutions.
Preferred:
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems and hydraulic systems.
