Summary
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (Onsite) to join their team in Irving, TX. The role involves performing aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of service and safety of customers and team members by adhering to Environmental Health and Safety requirements and Pratt & Whitney policies. Your tasks will include performing maintenance according to Aircraft Maintenance Manual procedures, assisting in achieving first-class maintenance turnaround times, and building relationships through effective communication.
About You
Required:
- HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines.
- Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license.
- Analytical skills and an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Highly motivated self-starter with creative troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent judgment and professional maturity.
- Extraordinary people and social skills, collaborative team player.
