City of Clermont is seeking a Maintenance Worker II - Facilities to join their team in Clermont, FL. The role involves performing general repair and maintenance of City buildings, systems, and grounds.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Worker II, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, responding to repair work orders, and performing various skilled tasks such as carpentry, minor electrical work, plumbing, and custodial duties. You will also operate vehicles and heavy equipment, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety standards while providing excellent customer service.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years of related work experience.
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Valid Class 'B' Commercial Florida Driver’s Permit with an air brake endorsement within three (3) months of hire.
Preferred:
Experience in maintenance of traffic certification.
FEMA IS100 and IS700 certifications within six (6) months from date of hire.
