About the Role
As a Maintenance Worker III, you will be responsible for general repair and maintenance work on District buildings and facilities, grounds maintenance, plumbing maintenance, and assisting with emergency situations. Your duties will include operating tools and equipment, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. You will also be required to work varied shifts and odd hours as needed.
About You
Required:
- General knowledge of tasks, tools, and materials associated with maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate motorized and manual tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping projects.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
Gateway Services CDD
Gateway Services is a Community Development District (CDD) which is a governmental unit created to serve the long-term specific needs of its community. Created pursuant to Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes, a CDD’s main powers are to plan, finance, construct, operate and maintain community-wide infrastructure and services specifically for the benefit of its residents. In the GSCDD some of our responsibilities include storm water management, potable and irrigation water supply, sewer and wastewater management, and street lights. We also oversee and maintain some of the recreational areas such as the pool, soccer fields and common areas.
