About the Role
As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical structure of the facility, inspecting and diagnosing machines and equipment, installing and repairing electrical apparatus, performing preventative maintenance, and supervising inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
- Two years of experience in general maintenance or construction is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
- Additional equivalent technical/trade school courses in a maintenance or construction related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Knowledge of building construction and the operation of building systems is preferred.
