About the Role
As a Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for the independent operation of x-ray equipment, positioning patients, and recording images for review by the Radiologist. Your duties will include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 2D and 3D (tomosynthesis), dexa scans, galactograms, needle localizations, and mammogram-guided biopsies.
About You
Required:
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Mammography.
- Licensed by State of Louisiana in Radiologic Technology.
- Current BLS certification through an ILCOR provided course.
Preferred:
- Experience in mammography.
- EPIC experience.
