About the Role
As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting mammography tests, developing results, and ensuring quality breast images for radiologists. You will evaluate patient history, assist in special procedures, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with patients and staff. Additionally, you will participate in departmental performance improvement programs and stay updated on advancements in the field of mammography.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or Texas Medical Board.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
Preferred:
- Graduate of an accredited Mammography Technologist program.
- Two years of experience in mammography, including screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- ARRT Advanced Certification in Mammography.
