KBR, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Business Development to join their team in Newark, DE. The role involves providing leadership in the planning, organization, management, and continuous improvement of the business development and strategic development process.
About the Role
As a Manager - Business Development, you will conduct research and analysis of business opportunities, build long-term relationships with customers, identify market opportunities, and serve as a liaison with KBR counterparts on cross-business unit opportunities. You will be responsible for leading the process from opportunity identification through proposal development and contract signature, while also delivering a steady stream of opportunities for various phases of project delivery.
About You
Required:
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Engineering, Business (or equivalent).
- Twelve (12)+ years of experience including ten (8)+ years of industry experience and four (4)+ years in Business Development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Refining, Petrochemical/Chemical, Energy Transition, and Process services industry.
Preferred:
- Experience in selling capital project solutions and construction management services.
- Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting information to prospective clients.
