Summary
IQ-EQ is seeking a Manager - Fund Accounting (CFO Support Services) to join their team in Woodbridge, NJ. The role involves leading core financial operations, managing fund administrator relationships, and overseeing various accounting processes.
About the Role
As a Manager - Fund Accounting, you will be responsible for vendor payments, budgeting, cash management, and maintaining accurate records. You will also manage NAV reporting, fee calculations, audits, and tax filings, while continuously evaluating and improving accounting processes and supporting strategic client engagement.
About You
Required:
- Over 7 years of experience in the alternative investment management industry, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and real estate.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, with CPA certification preferred.
- Strong management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, NetSuite, and Sage.
Preferred:
- In-house experience in fund accounting.
