About You
- 12 to 15 years of experience in developing platforms in the Data engineering space.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing product development teams.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop Eco Systems including HDFS, Map Reduce, HIVE, PIG, Oozie, YARN, EMR, S3, Spark, Cassandra, HBASE, Kafka, Sqoop, Zookeeper.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Strong leadership experience and ability to manage small teams of high caliber development and QA engineers.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience on Public Cloud (AWS).
- Expertise with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders.
