RTX is seeking a Manager, Benefits Finance to join their Corporate Finance team in Farmington, CT. The role involves overseeing financial accounting, reporting, funding, and forecasting aspects of the Company’s benefits offerings.
About the Role
As the Manager, Benefits Finance, you will report to the Associate Director, Benefits Finance and play a critical role in the Benefits Finance department. Your responsibilities will include developing financial forecasts, assisting in financial statement disclosures, participating in special projects, managing third-party vendor relationships, and supporting audit activities.
About You
Required:
University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
Solid experience and knowledge of financial forecasting and analysis.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to independently manage critical projects under demanding schedules.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Solid written and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Preferred:
Ability to help identify and execute process improvements.
Experience with general accounting and/or actuarial concepts, including fringe benefit programs.
Knowledge of GAAP, ERISA and CAS regulations with respect to pensions and other benefits.
Proficiency with tools such as SAP, OneStream, Power Query, Power BI and Alteryx.
