Summary
KPMG US is seeking a Manager, Compensation & Benefits Tax to join their Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in Sacramento, CA. The role involves providing compensation, benefits, and HR-related services to clients, particularly in the context of Mergers and Acquisitions tax.
About the Role
As a Manager, Compensation & Benefits Tax, you will work closely with Tax, Audit, and Advisory teams to deliver high-quality services to large clients. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, overseeing financial performance of engagements, assessing tax impacts, and mentoring junior tax professionals. You will also contribute to market activities and maintain managerial responsibility for your team.
About You
Required:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in federal tax with employer benefit strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or completion of one of the advanced degrees or professional designations.
Preferred:
- Experience in total rewards and benefits, global compensation and equity sourcing and taxation, and Mergers and Acquisitions advisory.
- Solid experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
- Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal, and written communication skills.
