Summary
KPMG US is seeking a Manager, Data Operations, Data Engineer to join their Digital Nexus technology organization in Orlando, FL. The role involves leading a team in designing and delivering data pipelines and business intelligence solutions.
About the Role
As a Manager of Data Engineering, you will lead a team of Azure Data Lake and business intelligence engineers to design and deliver ADL Pipelines, Notebooks, and interactive Power BI dashboards. You will also design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks, develop production-grade ETL/ELT solutions, and apply critical thinking to create innovative BI solutions. Additionally, you will manage technical expertise and provide strategic guidance to team members while fostering a high-performance team environment.
About You
Required:
- Minimum seven years of recent experience designing and building ADL Pipelines and Data bricks notebooks using modern business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI).
- Minimum two years of recent experience designing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, DAX, and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Proven track record in defining, managing, and delivering BI projects.
