KPMG US is seeking a Manager, Data Solution Lead to join their Digital Nexus technology organization in Houston, TX. The role involves managing projects across multiple applications and technologies, transforming business requirements into technology designs, and overseeing the development of data solutions.
About the Role
As a Manager, Data Solution Lead, you will be accountable for managing and supporting various projects, designing and maintaining data pipelines, collaborating with technical teams, and contributing to best practices in data management and analytics. You will also act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring that business needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in developing and implementing large technology projects in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with MS Azure, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong knowledge of data management methodologies such as data architecture, data governance, and BI/Analytics.
- Experience with data manipulation and ETL using SQL and Python.
- Demonstrated experience across the systems development life cycle in all project phases.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to provide technical mentorship through peer collaboration and code reviews.
