About the Role
As a Manager of Health Information Management, you will oversee daily staffing and work distribution, implement tactical plans to support departmental goals, develop short- and long-term goals for direct reports, counsel staff for performance enhancement, and collaborate with internal groups for system implementations. You will also prepare specialized reports and assist in budget evaluations to support financial planning.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or Business.
- RHIA or RHIT certification from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) required.
- 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team lead position, preferably in a Health Information Department.
