Summary
County of Los Angeles is seeking a Manager III, Facilities Operations and Crafts to oversee facilities operations and building crafts programs at a large medical center in Los Angeles, CA.
About the Role
As a Manager III, Facilities Operations and Crafts, you will be responsible for planning, assigning, coordinating, and managing various craft and trade workers engaged in construction, maintenance, alteration, or repair of the physical plant and equipment. You will ensure compliance with building, construction, and safety codes, oversee the development and implementation of policies and standards, manage emergency contingency plans, and represent the facility in pre-design and pre-construction conferences.
About You
Required:
- Three years of experience at the level of Manager I, Facilities Operations and Crafts, supervising multiple facilities operations and crafts functions in a healthcare setting.
- Experience implementing Title 22 requirements and The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
Preferred:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in construction engineering technology, engineering, or architecture.
- Additional experience in excess of the Selection Requirements.
