Vanguard is seeking a Manager, IT Global Change Enablement to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves leading the Change Enablement process for both legacy and cloud-native systems, ensuring production readiness and operational resiliency.
About the Role
As the Manager of Global Change Enablement, you will hire, evaluate, and supervise crew members, lead the Change Enablement process, maintain an integrated change calendar, oversee change reviews and compliance, chair Change Advisory Boards, collaborate with project managers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of thought leadership. You will also act as a focal point for escalation and communication, develop change knowledge resources, and support connected ITSM processes.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of five years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required.
- 2-5 years in technology operations leadership.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, security, cloud models, and technological change.
- Exceptional communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred:
- Two years of managing a project preferred.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification preferred.
- Experience in high-velocity IT environments, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD tools (AWS, Azure, GitHub, Jira, Confluence).
- Proficiency with project/task management tools (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Proven ability to influence, solve problems, and drive toward common goals in a global, matrixed organization.
