KPMG US is seeking a Manager, M&A Tax to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves advising clients on corporate tax services related to mergers and acquisitions.
About the Role
As a Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, you will advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other M&A activities. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering due diligence and tax structuring services, collaborating with senior members on technical tax issues, and assisting clients with various current issues. Additionally, you will develop and train staff-level team members while upholding KPMG's professional standards.
About You
Required:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisition in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, with the requirement to obtain at least one approved designation within one year of hire.
- Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
