About the Role
As the Manager of Actuarial Services, you will oversee the development of actuarial assumptions, manage recommendations for reserves, lead the preparation of regulatory reports, and ensure compliance with actuarial standards. You will also be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and guiding product development processes while maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in math, economics, actuarial science, or related field.
- Seven (7) years of actuarial experience.
- Advanced knowledge of financial and risk health arrangements.
- Strong skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS and Cognos.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Exam progression or professional credentials, such as ASA, FSA or MAAA.
- Prior experience supervising or managing people and/or projects.
- Ability to design and implement process improvements.
- A thorough understanding of non-Actuarial functions such as Rating & Underwriting, Finance, and Product Development.
