St. Vincent de Paul CARES is seeking a Manager of Communications and Events to join their team in St. Petersburg, FL. The role involves planning and managing major fundraising events and producing communications collateral for the organization.
About the Role
As the Manager of Communications and Events, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the Empty Bowls fundraising event, managing event budgets, and producing various print and digital communications. You will also create relationships with media outlets, oversee web content, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University and/or Communications experience.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, self-motivate, and deliver results.
Preferred:
Demonstrated event management experience with events raising six figures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher, Adobe, and PDS.
Experience developing digital and print communications collateral.
