Summary
MUSC Health is seeking a Manager of Grants Administration to support the development and implementation of new grant infrastructure initiatives for the health system in Charleston, SC.
About the Role
As the Manager of Grants Administration, you will oversee compliance and pre/post-award administration of MUHA’s sponsored research grants and contracts. You will collaborate with external sponsoring agencies, university research administration, and research support services to ensure smooth operation of grant functions. Your responsibilities will include managing grant setup, preparing financial reports, and monitoring sponsored awards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, public administration, or social sciences.
- Four years of experience in contracts and grant administration activities.
- Ability to interpret Federal, State, and Institutional policies regarding grants and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to gather data, analyze facts, and prepare reports.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software, especially Excel.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with Complex Cloud Based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
- Experience in higher education or not-for-profit related to Grants Administration.
