KPMG US is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, SALT M&A to join their State and Local Tax (SALT) practice in Denver, CO. The role involves delivering pre-transaction related Tax and Financial due diligence, acquisition structuring, and post-transaction integration services.
About the Role
As a Manager or Senior Manager, SALT M&A, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Tax and Advisory team, examining tax laws, creating spreadsheets for tax liabilities, drafting due diligence reports, and supervising staff. You will also have the opportunity to develop new client relationships and contribute to market activities.
About You
Required:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in providing tax research and technical advice on multi-state issues.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or MTX.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and perform in a high-energy team environment.
- Experience with various corporate taxes.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and tax research skills; Excel skills are required.
Preferred:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in providing tax research and technical advice on multi-state issues for Senior Manager role.
- Experience mentoring and counseling staff-level team members.
