RTX is seeking a Manager, Procurement to join their team in Richardson, TX. The role involves leading the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services for complex test equipment while managing supplier performance and purchase orders.
About the Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will review drawings and specifications to determine sourcing strategies, prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, perform price and cost analysis, and lead negotiations on price and terms. You will work closely with program customers and other functional groups to achieve objectives and manage purchase orders to ensure timely supplier delivery.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership role.
Experience in a SAP based environment.
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including SOW review.
Experience in leading formal negotiations on price, schedule, and supplier exceptions.
Demonstrated knowledge/compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
Price Cost Analysis experience.
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Raytheon’s various supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tools.
Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or STEM field.
Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry.
Outstanding communication, strong presentation, and keen attention to detail.
Highly organized with strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
