Summary
Figma is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering - Collaboration Tools to join their team, responsible for the success of Figma's Collab seat offering, including Figma Slides and FigJam.
About the Role
As the Engineering Manager for Collaboration Tools, you will manage and support engineering teams, partner with product and design to innovate on Collab Tools, provide technical leadership, recruit and mentor engineers, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager with at least 2 years of experience managing managers.
- Ability to operate effectively at the level of product and business strategy while balancing operational excellence in running engineering teams.
- Proven track record of successfully operating and growing E2E product lines.
- Passion for building inclusive teams that deliver customer impact and iterate quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings.
Preferred:
- Experience leading product teams in B2B companies with a PLG motion.
- Previous experience in integrating AI into existing product lines effectively.
