About the Role
As a Manager, Software Engineering, Platform, you will manage a team of Infrastructure engineers to ensure the availability and reliability of Ripple products. Your responsibilities include building and operating production software at internet scale, collaborating with key partners, and improving the internal engineering experience. You will also be responsible for crafting and maintaining processes for the infrastructure organization and minimizing incident resolution times.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years of management experience in software infrastructure engineering.
- Strong familiarity with AWS tools and services.
- Experience building and operating highly reliable distributed systems in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience in improving the reliability and operational automation of complex, multi-tier systems.
Preferred:
- Customer-focused curiosity and passion for technology.
- Experience working in the FinTech industry.
- Experience participating in incident response.
