Summary
KPMG US is seeking a Manager, Transaction Strategy (Finance) to join their KPMG Strategy practice in Houston, TX. The role involves assisting with client engagements for corporate and private equity clients focusing on significant transactions including acquisitions and divestitures.
About the Role
As a Manager, Transaction Strategy (Finance), you will be responsible for selling and delivering client engagements, working with KPMG's M&A Services teams on finance and accounting activities, and collaborating with various teams including financial due diligence and accounting advisory services. You will also assist with operational details of transactions throughout the deal lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of five years of experience providing accounting and management consulting services to corporate and/or private equity clients.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; licensed CPA or MBA is a plus.
- Significant operational M&A transaction experience in all phases of the deal lifecycle.
- Proven performance with project management, process analysis, and financial systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with international transactions.
- Solid experience with finance and accounting sub-functions including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and FP&A.
- Knowledge of transition service agreements (TSAs) and shared services.
