About the Role
As a Managing Attorney - Immigration, you will oversee the Immigration Team's substantive and administrative responsibilities, represent clients in immigration applications and court proceedings, train and supervise less experienced staff, manage team-specific grants, and engage in community outreach and education. You will also ensure compliance with program and grant requirements and develop strategies for systemic issues affecting client communities.
About You
Required:
- Must be a member in good standing with the bar and eligible to practice in the highest court of any state.
- Five years of experience as a practicing attorney, with three years in civil poverty law or public interest law.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish.
- Substantive and procedural expertise in immigration law.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams and communities.
Preferred:
- Experience with grant writing, reporting, and management.
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
