Dice is seeking a Managing Director, AI Engineering to lead their Generative AI organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role focuses on driving the strategic vision and technical direction for AI projects that deliver significant business value.
About the Role
As the Managing Director of AI Engineering, you will lead the enterprise-wide adoption of generative AI and autonomous agents, ensuring these technologies provide measurable value in customer experience, operations, and finance. You will develop Responsible AI practices, design a modular AI platform, manage cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with data privacy standards and maximizing the use of Microsoft tools for AI integration.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of leadership experience, including leading technical teams.
- 5-8 years of experience in Agile and DevOps practices.
- 5-8 years of experience leading AI/ML teams with a focus on natural language processing.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and scalable AI infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (Masters, Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- 2 years of experience with Generative AI foundation models.
- Experience managing large, complex projects including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with AI-specific platform technologies and microservices architecture.
