Summary
FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director, FDD | Corporate Finance & Restructuring to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to address financial and transactional challenges throughout the deal life cycle.
About the Role
As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for executing client engagements, directing client teams, and managing client relationships. You will also engage in business development, introduce new client prospects, and support transaction advisory work for buyers, sellers, and lenders. The role requires building internal relationships and contributing to a cooperative atmosphere that maximizes client value and minimizes risk during acquisitions or divestitures.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor or Advanced Degree in accounting and/or finance.
- CPA certification.
- 10 years in assurance/audit in a Big 4 or national accounting firm, specifically in Transaction Advisory Practice.
- Strong technical accounting skills with detailed knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Ability to conduct detailed analysis on products, markets, competitors, and customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
