WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Managing Director, Project Development to join their Advisory and Planning department. The role involves leading a team of management consultants to deliver high-quality consulting services across various domains including due diligence, procurement strategy, and civil rights advisory.
About the Role
As a Managing Director, you will be responsible for leadership and team management, driving growth through strategic planning, and providing technical expertise in areas such as energy and social infrastructure alternative delivery. You will oversee project implementation, ensure client satisfaction, and manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the consulting practice.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Data Sciences, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- Graduate degree in relevant field (J.D., M.B.A., Ph. D).
- 15+ years of relevant post education experience in discipline, and in a leadership, management consulting, or client advisory capacity.
- Advanced proficiency and proven experience in the areas of due diligence, procurement strategy, alternative delivery methods, and/or civil rights.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Supervisory and/or management experience on major infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge and application of P3 and other alternative project delivery methods.
