Summary
Chronos Imaging LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Aurora, IL. The role involves creating and refining processes to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide engineering support to manufacturing areas and product development teams, ensuring that products and processes meet requirements and expectations. You will lead process improvement activities, monitor key performance indicators, and participate in regulatory audits. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating new designs for manufacturability and supporting in-sourcing/out-sourcing activities.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- Strong technical writing skills and report writing capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Minitab or similar statistical analysis software
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated problem solving capability
