Summary
Stant is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Connersville, IN. The role is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting new product introductions within the plant.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will determine and specify economic methods, operation sequences, and tooling for fabrication. You will provide technical guidance, develop assembly guides, participate in cost studies, and manage engineering projects. Your role will involve interfacing with internal and external resources, leading process ownership, and supporting the development of manufacturing engineers and teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and develop process controls using Root Cause Problem Solving techniques.
- Strong competency in lean tools and effective communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in project management and training of engineering teams.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings.
