Summary
Stellantis is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer-Machining to lead all Manufacturing Engineering functions for North America powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs in Trenton, MI.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer-Machining, you will guide your Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering scope definition, managing powertrain programs, leading implementation of Stellantis Industrial System methodology, and supporting various manufacturing plants across North America.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology or technical equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience, with Powertrain Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program management or multi-tasking environment.
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge about GD&T, Statistical Process Control, tooling, jigs & fixture design, machining processes.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to implement SPW principles and lead effectively in a bargaining unit environment.
- Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis.
- Experience with Autocad, Teamcenter, 3D modelling Software like Solidworks, NX.
