Summary
BW Converting is seeking a Manufacturing Site Leader to join their team in Green Bay, WI. The role involves leading a team of machinists and fabricators to manufacture high-quality parts with a focus on efficiency, safety, and process improvement.
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Site Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safety-oriented environment, leading manufacturing teams, achieving operational goals, developing a high-performing team, monitoring key performance indicators, coaching team members, and managing team member actions including hiring and performance management. You will also identify equipment issues, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and forecast monthly business commitments.
About You
Required:
- Associates degree in Machine Tool/Fabrication Technology or related field, or similar Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of three years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using Lean manufacturing concepts and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
- Technical expertise in machining, fabrication/engraving, materials, blueprints, NC programs, routings, tooling, and fixturing.
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills, planning, and scheduling abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
