About the Role
As a Supply / Buy Planner, or Demand / Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with various teams, including quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration. Your tasks will include scheduling and expediting the movement of parts, communicating with production sites, and analyzing production scheduling issues to develop process improvements.
About You
Required:
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple levels of Management and internal/external customers.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
- Ability to work outside of normal operating hours as required.
Preferred:
- Manufacturing Scheduling Experience.
- Data Analysis skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings.
- SAP Experience.
- Supply Chain or Engineering background.
