About the Role
As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with automation engineers to develop and maintain automation solutions using various PLCs and SCADA systems. You will support standalone system implementation, continuous improvement initiatives, and provide operational support for automation systems. Your responsibilities will include project management, technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with GxP standards.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma / GED and 8 years of Engineering experience OR
- Associates Degree and 6 years of Engineering experience OR
- Bachelors Degree and 2 years of Engineering experience OR
- Masters Degree
Preferred:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Biotech Engineering.
- Direct knowledge of PLC design and experience in controls engineering with GMP biopharmaceutical production.
- Extensive understanding of programming, design, installation, and lifecycle management of automation technologies.
- Experience with Rockwell industrial automation hardware and systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply GAMPs and GMPs in a regulated environment.
- Experience in Capital Project Lifecycle Management.
- Hands-on experience in developing process control strategies for Drug Substance Plant Operations.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
