Summary
Turning Point Care Center is seeking a Director of Utilization Management (UM) / Utilization Review (UR) to join their team in Moultrie, GA. The role involves overseeing the Utilization Management Plan and ensuring quality patient care documentation.
About the Role
As the Director of Utilization Review (UR) / Utilization Management (UM), you will work closely with various departments to implement and manage the Utilization Management Plan. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, analyzing insurance criteria, coordinating the utilization review process, performing patient reviews, and supervising the Utilization Review department.
About You
Required:
- Licensure through state composite board for nursing or counseling/therapy: Minimum RN, LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT.
- Three (3) years of experience in chart analysis, utilization review, medical/clinical terminology, and acuity of illness.
Preferred:
- BSN, MSN, LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and experience with chemical dependency programs, mental health programs, situational evaluations, and crisis intervention.
