About the Role
As a Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for shaping how the organization communicates its kaupapa, services, and impact. Your key responsibilities will include managing digital platforms, leading storytelling and content creation, building media relationships, supporting internal communications, monitoring campaign performance, and managing budgets and external agency relationships.
About You
Required:
- 3–4 years’ experience in communications or marketing, or a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and visual content skills (including photography).
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of kaupapa Māori, tikanga practices, and local iwi/marae connections.
- Conversational Te Reo Māori (Level 2 or above).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team.
Preferred:
- Collaborative, creative, and culturally grounded, with a passion for community impact.
