Salesforce is seeking a Marketing Security Lead Engineer to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on translating technical security controls into practical guidance for a diverse workforce and enhancing security across marketing infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Marketing Security Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with marketing architects, engineers, and product managers to identify threats and scale marketing security programs. Your responsibilities include threat modeling, collaborating on secure development lifecycles, researching new technologies, and advising on security controls. You will work closely with IT and Enterprise Security to ensure security requirements are met across various technologies.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience in technical leadership.
8+ years of experience in security roles such as security operations, security engineering, incident response, or application security.
Excellent communication skills with experience in risk assessment and threat modeling.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with security assessment tools like BurpSuite, Nexpose, and Metasploit.
Understanding of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
At least one security-related certification (e.g., OSCP, GCIH).
Experience in writing security white papers or presenting at industry conferences.
