About the Role
As a Part Time Massage Therapist, you will perform medical and traditional massage based on the needs of members, treat specific areas of injury and discomfort, and work closely with healthcare providers to formulate treatment plans. The position requires a commitment of 16 hours per week, specifically 8 hours on Tuesdays and 8 hours on Thursdays.
About You
Required:
- Licensed as a massage therapist in the state of practice.
- Demonstrate a high level of massage proficiency, with a minimum of one year massage therapy work experience.
Preferred:
- Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
- Professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and/or the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
- Continuing education in advanced neuromuscular and myofascial techniques.
- CPR Certification that includes hands-on evaluation of skills.
