About the Role
As a Material Control Specialist III, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receiving and counting stock items, conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, and maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP/MRP system. You will collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory flow and minimize discrepancies, while also assisting in implementing inventory control policies and process improvements.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related functional experience in stockroom/inventory or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Foundational knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems for inventory tracking and control.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- APICS Certification (CPIM) or equivalent.
- Experience using Oracle ERP or a similar system.
- Forklift experience.
- Prior Hazmat shipping experience (lithium-ion or equivalent).
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe material handling practices.
