V2X Inc is seeking a Material Coordinator - 1st Shift to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves coordinating and verifying the delivery of materials and documentation to production.
About the Role
As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of orders by reviewing work orders and material availability, monitoring and tracking work order progress, and proactively identifying and resolving material shortages. You will also update ERP systems with accurate material movements and support inventory audits to maintain system accuracy.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in materials coordination, production control, or inventory operations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing workflows and inventory control practices.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, S4HANA, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand requirements detailed on drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
