Summary
Optimized Process Designs LLC is seeking a Material Expeditor to join their team in Mt. Belvieu, TX. The role involves coordinating and expediting the flow of materials within the jobsite according to production and shipping schedules.
About the Role
As a Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for examining materials delivered to the jobsite for damages, arranging on-site transfers to meet production schedules, maintaining the status and location of materials, and monitoring the movement of materials upon arrival. You will also enforce safety policies and procedures and participate in a strong safety culture.
About You
Required:
- One or more years of experience working with pipe, valves, and fittings in a gas plant construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
- Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines.
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able and willing to meet all physical demands of the job.
Preferred:
- Past experience working as a materials helper.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain and managing inventory.
