Summary
Kinsley Steel is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd Shift to join their team in York, PA. The role involves painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks.
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will operate forklifts, perform rigging work, load and unload steel from trucks, prep and paint structural steel, and support the fabrication shop with various duties. You will be part of a dynamic team working on challenging projects that contribute to the growth and success of Kinsley Steel.
About You
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience with overhead cranes.
- Ability to work 2nd shift schedule, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint.
