About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of equipment and supplies for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. Your daily tasks will include using automated systems for inventory management, performing manual tasks as directed, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Four years related experience.
- Completed Enlisted Warehouseman Basic Course at MCSSS or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be capable of operating MHE (forklifts, tractors, etc.) and conveyor systems used in warehousing operations.
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License and able to obtain and maintain a Tactical Operator License.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
Preferred:
- Ability to apply detailed technical data from technical data systems in the care and storage program.
- Ability to develop storage space requirements considering material, weight, cube, and clearance.
