Fiserv is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Stafford, TX. The role involves supporting print production operations by staging, moving, and verifying materials to ensure efficient equipment operation.
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will operate a pallet jack, manage inventory, and ensure that print production equipment is stocked with necessary supplies. You will stage materials according to job tickets, communicate with supervisors and warehouse staff, verify job components, and prioritize work assignments based on production commitments. Your role will also involve collaborating with team members to support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks in a production setting.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions with high accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate work with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Experience in a print production, mail, or postal-processing environment.
- Familiarity with basic inventory systems or warehouse management tools.
- Experience in supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
