STERIS is seeking a Material Handler (Thurs-Sat 7PM-7AM) to join their team in Northborough, MA. The role involves safely processing customer products according to established procedures within FDA, ISO, and GMP guidelines.

About the Role

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for utilizing handling equipment to transfer customer products through the sterilization process, loading and unloading products, ensuring proper sterilization levels, and complying with health and safety requirements. You will work in a collaborative environment focused on quality and safety.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of one (1) year of warehousing, production, or manufacturing experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to effectively read, write and verbally communicate.

Preferred:

Prior experience operating forklift equipment.
Ability to navigate through defined computer screens.
Utilize ERP/WMS systems.
Effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior experience.
Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc.
Above average organizing and analyzing skills and Level 2 math skill.
Ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision.
Able to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
